Ode to the Hunter's Party

The time came and went for the last annual Hunter's Party.
Steve and Brett decided to start the Hunter's Party several years ago since "the women get all these baby showers, bridal showers" etc. It has always been a time for the men to share mounts, exhaggerated stories, and homemade jerky.
They love it.

The party has been at our shop the last few years, but this year, for the final time, it was at Brett's. There is usually a fire outside, bow shooting, hunting videos, barbecue, door prizes, and sometimes even clinics about the newest gadgets, must haves or do-it-yourself's.

It has always been a good time to celebrate a much-loved sport. So we say thank you, to Steve for all you have done to put on this amazing event...but mostly, to give these guys the "man time" they needed.

So here is our ode to the Hunter's Party. You will be missed.

(Although, we do feel it may, just MAY happen again next year. ;)

What a fun change of venue. First time I've seen Brett's shop! They BETTER keep doing it! :)

Even though we are not hunters, it still sounds like fun! What a perfect Gatten tradition! I can not believe that it will be the last one. We love Spike's letters, I have shared some with the children and am so thankful for his great example. Glad to hear that he is feeling better. He is such an inspiration to us! Love your blog!
