Dusty's Turkey Hunt

Dusty just got back from turkey hunting this weekend with his friend from dental school. He got a couple turkeys...his first ever! Since it's a "first," I thought it was deserving of a post on the family blog....and I've never ever made a post to a blog before. Anyway, he called them in and everything. Well deserving of a couple nice Toms and a couple Jakes! He went over by Chawelah on cousin Jim Crisp's property. After lots of hiking, sitting, calling, and seeing lots of deer and elk, they were able to fill their turkey tags!!!

So cool Dusty! Looks like fun. Turkeys are just so amazing. Can't wait to live close to people who can teach me how to do things like that. I wouldn't even know where to start. :) Congrats!!!!

Angie, you should start your own blog too! :) And keep posting on the family one too! :)

Wow, those are some big turkeys. Oren would be proud. I'll send him an email with a link to the page so he can see them. But......did ya have to kill um'? Kinda sad.:( Poor, poor, turkeys.
