We tried to get an early start and decided to take the subway to Ground Zero, Battery Park to catch the ferry to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. However, I forgot to ask where to get off! We went clear into Brooklyn and to a stop where there was NYPD outside each door before I asked if we were on the right train. We were but had not gotten off and had to switch and go back to Chambers street.It was okay though because Nikers still had her mace Brett had given to her before leaving home... that is until the security guard took it away when we went on the ferry for the statue.

I warned you about the subway! :) Isn't it CRAZY how many different lines and stops?! Not like any other city I've been too. Great pics!
