The bi-annual Lee family reunion had a great participation year! Only 15 of Grandpa's posterity were unable to attend. Kristen Davis Mayne and her family are in the service in Germany, Genelle Lee Taylor was super involved in a class reunion, Spike Lee Gatten is on his church mission in Manaus, and Josh Lee had tickets to come but ended up in the hospital in Taiwan, and Jimmy Lee and his family in Florida. We did miss those who were not with us!
Held at the Clark Fork river near Superior, Montana, we had 5 days of white water rafting, beaching, games, relay races, campfires, good food,good visiting,fireworks, and a bloody marathon race for old times sake.
There were 96 in attendance and only 15 who could not make it. Many were able to attend church in Superior to hear G-pa bear his sweet testimony. What a wonderful experience for all of us, and a great way to spend the fourth of July with a veteran of WWII. We all love him so much and the example he has been to all of us of Christ like love. Thank you Dad for a heritage of patriotism and sacrifice.
